Lego Case
This technical drawing is a scaled and shaded representation of a project I completed for one of my classes at CU Boulder. It was drawn in isometric view using a 30/60/90 triangle.
The task was to create a carry case for the handful of LEGOs we were given. The case had to be secure enough that the LEGOs would not make noise when moved around. I chose to tackle this by using exact measurements so that each LEGO fits so perfectly together that they can not move at all. My case is made out of foam core because it is sturdy and thick, and I shaved the edges of the hinge point so that the lid of the case can fully open as seen in the middle picture. The case latches closed with Velcro embedded in the wall and attached to the lid.
