Wakefield House

This project taught me a lot about how to work with lighting and site at the same time. As you can see, the house is excessively covered in windows. My classmates even nicknamed it “The Window House”. However, I studied the site for this plan, and it is extremely private. Although it connects to a road, the house is set far behind the plot and surrounded by trees. So I thought there was no reason to not allow as much natural lighting and scenery into the space as possible.
